The start, finish and parking is located at 5201 Raymond Street in
Orlando. From I-4 to SR 50 - Colonial Dr. (E) Approx.
3 miles to Bennett (N) Approx. 1 mile to Corrine (W) Approx. .5 mile to

DESCRIPTION
Skate the newest Inline Marathon & ½ Marathon in the United States.
Enjoy one of the most exciting inline skating events anywhere, held in sunny
and warm Orlando, Florida - home of Shamu and Mickey!
RACE COURSE
The course is flat and fast with smooth new roads. Each loop is 0.9 miles in
length with all left hand "skater friendly" turns.
SCHEDULE
Saturday, April 9, 2005
1 pm to 4 pm: Register for the event and packet pickup at the race venue.
Sunday, April 10, 2005
6:00 am: Registration opens. Race day registration and transponder pick up.
7:00 am: Registration closes. Divide into start waves.
7:30 am: Marathon start. All marathoners will be
included in the Inline Half series - you will have 2 entries in the
standings, one for the first half marathon and one for the second half
marathon.
7:45 am: Half start.
10:45 am: Awards ceremony.
CATEGORIES & AWARDS

Pro (Marathon ONLY) - Competitive skaters who are USAC, USAIR, or RWC
certified.
Top Three Overall, Male & Female
- Pro Masters (Marathon ONLY) - Competitive skaters 35 to 44 (by 12/31/05) who
are USAC, USAIR, or RWC certified.
Top Three Overall, Male & Female
- Pro Veterans (Marathon ONLY) - Competitive skaters 45 or older (by 12/31/05)
who are USAC, USAIR, or RWC certified.
Top Three Overall, Male & Female
- Age Group (Marathon & Half) - All other skaters
Age group awards to top three Male & Females In the following age
groups: (15-19, 20-24, 25-29, …, 90+)
- Military (Marathon & Half) - Skaters with a military ID for any branch -
retired or active.

NOTE: AWARDS MUST BE PICKED UP AT THE CEREMONY. NO AWARDS WILL
BE MAILED OUT.
RACE NOTES
- There is no time limit for this event.
- All registered participants receive a participant t-shirt and goodie-bag.
- All finishers will receive a beautiful commemorative finisher's medal.
- Participants may pick-up their t-shirt and goodie-bag on Saturday 4/9/05 at
the race venue from 1 pm to 4 pm.
- Helmets and wrist guards are mandatory to participate in the event. Knee and
elbow pads are recommended.
- Inline skates and quad skates only.
- NO roller skates, ski poles, baby strollers, baby joggers, headphones,
automobiles, skateboards, bikes, bandits, or pets are allowed .
- There is 1 neutral water station on
the course – on the left.
- There is 1 feed zone on the right side
of the course for athletes who have someone feeding them.
- Spark, Rehydrate, oranges, bananas and
water will be available at the aid station.
- The race will be held rain or shine.
- NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS
- The half marathon is part of the 2005
Orlando Inline 1/2 Marathon Series
- The race will be held rain or shine.
TIMING SYSTEM
- This event uses the AMB-IT system - NO MATS!!!
- You must wear the timing chip on your ankle (not boot) NO CHIP, NO TIME
- You must return the chip immediately after the race or be charged $100.00
- All times are net (this means that your time won't start until you cross the
start line regardless of where you are in the field)
