LOCATION, DIRECTIONS & PARKING
From Miami
I-95 to 528. Go West until 528 merges with Colonial (SR 50). Look for Avalon Park Blvd. and turn left. Go approximately 4 miles and look for signs for parking and registration.
From Tampa
I-4 to Central Florida Greenway (417) to Expressway 408. Expressway 408 to Alafaya Trail exit. Go right on Alafaya Trail (approximately 5 miles) until you see a large sign for Avalon Park on the left. Follow the signs to parking and registration.
From Orlando
Expressway 408 to Alafaya Trail exit. Go right on Alafaya Trail (approximately 5 miles) until you see a large sign for Avalon Park on the left. Follow the signs to parking and registration.

Saturday (11/04/06)
5:00 am - Registration opens. Race day registration and transponder pick up at Avalon Park Grill 
6:20 am - Last minute directions at the start line.
6:30 am – Inline marathon, half marathon and running Marathon start
6:45 am – Running Half Marathon start
11:00 am - Awards ceremony
11:30 am - Marathon and half marathon courses close
4:00 pm - Registration opens.  Race day registration and transponder pick up. 
5:00 pm - Mariner 1 Mile Family Fun Run & Walk

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We use the AMB timing system – as used in the Olympics and the Tour de France.
Amenities include event T-shirt (if registered by 10/24/06), goodie bag, finisher medal (for marathon & half) and post race buffet.
MC, Visa, Discover, checks and cash accepted onsite – add $1 per $20 entry fee for credit card transaction fees.
Online registrants will receive a confirmation email – please wait for this email prior to making travel arrangements.
Field limit is 400 athletes.
All Buttar.com running events are sanctioned by USA Track & Field and US Rollersports.
Aid stations every mile.
Marathon & half marathon course cut off is 11:30 am (5 hour marathon)
