The AMESPA (Advanced Medical Education Services Physician's Association) Children's Research and Treatment Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Rashid A. Buttar in 2007. RACE DIRECTOR FOR A DAY
Brand new for 2008 - find out what it takes to manage and run an event! This is a two day process which will give a hands on learning experience for anyone interested in putting on their own event. The cost is $595 for the weekend and participants will be exposed to every facet of a race starting 24 hours before to 12 hours after the race has been completed. This program is designed for the beginning race director and gives a low cost option for learning about race management.

Traveling North on I-77, take exit 23 to Huntersville and make a left on Gilead Rd. Turn left on McCoy Rd. End at the intersection of Julian Clark Ave, and Lindley Drive.
Driving directions from Statesville
Traveling South on I-77, take exit 23 to Huntersville, turn right on Gilead Rd. Turn left on McCoy Rd. End at the intersection of Julian Clark Ave, and Lindley Drive. 

AWARDS
The top 3 males and females overall in each race and in each of the in the following divisions:  Age groups 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29 to 85+ in 5 year increments, and Military (Must present retired or active military ID).

Please note:  Only the AGE GROUP and MILITARY divisions will be chip timed.

T-SHIRTS
Participants who pre-register online by midnight 11/16/08 are guaranteed and will receive a commemorative t-shirt specifically created for this event.  There will be a very limited supply available for walk up registrations and sizes are not guaranteed on event day.

TIMING & SCORING
This event is timed with the AMB timing transponder as seen in the Tour de France.  Failure to return the transponder after the event will result in a $100 fine.

PACKET PICK UP
Participants can pick up packets at the Advanced Concepts In Medicine office, located at 9630 Julian Clark Avenue, Huntersville, NC  28078; on Wednesday 11/26 from 10 am until 6 pm as well as on event morning starting at 6:00 am.
